The first generation body is on the basis of JR made some modification, although have adopted more advanced composites craft production and manufacturing, weight loss and strength has very big promotion, but the appearance is too much like with JR. So they've been planning and developing the new concept since January of last year. Because the shape of the casing must follow the principles of fluid mechanics and not lose the most important flight performance due to fashion, innovation requires more consideration. Many designers have high professional quality, but our product has its own particularity. Performance and aesthetic need perfect combination, so the RVE team invited CAFA (China Central Academy Of Fine Arts) master Nemo Cai as the design of the task. The most important reason for this was that Nemo Cai had been flying fixed-wing and helicopters since he was very young, so he knew a lot about flying machines. Let's share the birth of this new case with you! The requirements for performance had been communicated to the designer long before, such as increasing the cross-section to reduce the dive speed, increasing the strength of the FRP structure through the combination of the line and surface of the fuselage, etc., so he had considered many performance requirements from the beginning of the design. With the design idea, hand-painted design draft begins to be covered with sheets of the table. Through constant modification and screening, Nemo finally selected three different design ideas of the sketch style, and elaborated the design concept and characteristics: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The first design is derived from Luigi Colani's idea of "my world is round", which is mainly composed of perfect fluid curves. In the end, the RVE team chose design three, the most futuristic and visually stunning fluid streamline design. This multi-curved design can greatly increase the structural strength of the FRP, with high support and torsional resistance, so that the housing can be made thinner and lighter. According to the characteristics of this design, her name was also born -- Future The sketch was slightly modified to take on a richer three-dimensional form. After the initial design was completed, the work got heavier. You need to refine the curves, radians, combinations, and so on for each position. There are too many revised materials. I chose two representative hand-drawn pictures to show. The body is to be installed on the body of the Merak, so all the dimensions should be calculated according to the frame structure, and finally the height, width and length of the housing can be determined. The rack generates a three-dimensional entity. Scale it down and 3D print it. The next step is to make a clay model. The frame model is placed directly inside the sludge so that interference problems can be easily detected. The basic curves and contours have been revealed. After having this solid sample, 3d scanning is needed. After the scanning, a 3d model was established according to the data obtained. Here is the prototype after the scan and reconstruction. The basic lines and curves have been shown, but they are still not smooth enough and need to be adjusted. The following solid diagram is finalized after countless revisions. The workload during this period may be unimaginable to ordinary people. Each revision of 3d diagram is often several hours or dozens of hours of workload! Thanks to designer Nemo for his hard work!
